Job Details

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for requesting title policies and certified copies of recorded deeds of trust from title companies. Ensures documents are delivered to investors by due dates. Coordinates documents sent to the county for re-recording.

Will help back up receptionist duties by answering phones and signing in mail from couriers while receptionist is on lunch or break.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: May include but not be limited to the following

  1. Follow-up outstanding document report ALTA/Security Instruments from Title/Escrow via e-mail
  2. Request and follow-up re-recording Security Instrument from Title/Escrow
  3. Scan all final documents into BLITZ
  4. Sort final documents by investor and alphabetical order
  5. Log in/out final docs and send to appropriate investor
  6. Request a check to send to the appropriate County Recorder for re-recording Security Instrument, County Certified docs and Assignment out of MERS
  7. Send paper out E-disclosure/Appraisal
  8. Send copies/original Security Instrument to Pingora and DMI/Loan Care for paid off loans
  9. udit recording fees
  10. Other duties and or mortgage related tasks as assigned by management.
  11. The employee shall work well under pressure, meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines by working overtime as needed, employee shall always demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisor.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. Familiar with deeds of trust and title policies. Basic computer skills required: excel, database, word processing and email systems.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
bility to write correspondence and ability to speak effectively to coworkers, managers, investors and title companies. Ability to read and interpret deeds of trust, assignments and title policies.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
bility to apply concepts of basic math.
REASONING ABILITY:
bility to define problems, collect data for resolution, establish facts and provide information that is thorough and concise to management for resolution. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
