About the Sales Manager

MarketStar is seeking a Sales Manager to support our clients business marketing tool. You will be working with As a Sales Manager, you will manage the day-to-day activities and performance of a sales team to ensure their success and the overall performance of the team. Seize this opportunity to shape the way businesses stay connected while unlocking your full potential as a sales leader.

Location: Hybrid - Salt Lake City, UT

What Will You Do?

  • Lead your team to meet and exceed sales quotas and client expectations through successful sales delivery and pipeline management
  • Coach and develop sales representatives to succeed in hitting daily, weekly, and monthly input and output targets
  • Manage client stakeholder relationships effectively, forecasting and communicating on business results
  • Collaborate and align cross region with Senior Leadership, while spearheading strategies and initiatives locally
  • Ensure consistent and effective communication by holding regular team meetings/huddles sharing performance expectations and company culture / values
  • Assess current team processes, procedures, and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement, and build / execute plans to implement
  • Utilize data and reporting tools to identify best practices, rep behavior trends, gaps in revenue targets, and make recommendations to senior leadership to improve team and program performance through weekly reporting and formal business reviews


What Will You Need to Succeed?
  • Results- oriented with a history of driving performance to exceed goals
  • 2 or more years of prior experience leading a team of 10+ in a tele sales environment preferred
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Experience building strong relationships, managing conflict, and leading by example
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, G Suite / Microsoft preferred
  • Track record of coaching and developing low performers to reach target attainment
  • Demonstrated ability to understand data / reporting trends, showcase / duplicate success and identify / correct opportunities
  • Adaptable and able to effectively multi-task in a dynamic environment

The pay range for this position is $75,000 annually. This pay structure may include a variable bonus component. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role's responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
