Maxar is currently looking for a Project Accountant to join the Accounting team in Herndon, VA. Responsibilities:Prepare, issue, and post accurate and timely monthly invoices for FFP, T&M, and CPFF contracts to customers using Deltek Cost. Point billing module. Prepare schedules that support customer-driven reporting requirements. Submit accurate and timely invoices through various client portals as necessary. Prepare contract closeout billings and collaborate with Contracts and PCO groups to ensure completeness. Participate in the contract kick-off meeting, read and understand the terms of the contract and ensure set-up meets contractual requirements. Partner with contracts and Program Control Analysts to complete the Project Set-up Form and maintain all necessary records. Set up new current projects in Cost.
