Job Title: Medical ScreenerJob DescriptionAs a Medical Screener, your primary responsibilities will include confirming donor identification, teaching donors how to use the self-administered questionnaire and assisting as needed. You will perform donor arm checks, determine donor vital signs and weight, and record results accurately in the donor center system. You will assess donor suitability by reviewing their responses and ensure they meet the criteria, deferring donors when necessary and explaining the deferral process and timelines. You will also perform donor total protein readings using a refractometer. Your role requires maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor, keeping up-to-date with training, and attending staff meetings.
