Job Details
We are seeking a Vending Mechanic for our Landover, MD facility to repair and maintain vending and fountain equipment, both in house and on the street.
Roles and responsibilities include:
* Remove old parts and replace with new parts to keep truck inventory current.
* Plan day"s calls.
* Order any special parts not kept in truck inventory.
* Drive to location, evaluate situation and perform necessary work (may include plumbing, electricity, refrigeration, carpentry).
* After each call, complete paperwork on handheld device, print reports and end of every day.
* Perform in house repairs.
* Fill out paperwork including serial numbers and parts used.
* Turn in paperwork at the end of every day.
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
* Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D and two years vending mechanic experience; OR (2) five years vending mechanic experience.
* Basic electricity knowledge.
* Basic plumbing knowledge.
* Apprentice through Master Grade mechanic; work depends on skills.
* EPA Certification.
* Must maintain a valid Driver"s License.
* CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement.
* Related training or certification.
* Experience working in a team environment.
* Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
* MS Office including Word and Excel.
