**Description**

**THE ROLE**

The Inventory Manager will be responsible for the daily order processing, the measurement and accuracy of inventory levels, and the internal controls of inventory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Management of order processing throughout Infors ERP (SX.enterprise) system.

* Review and record warehouse transfers including the receipt and shipment of orders.

* Scheduling of event replenishments with Distribution Center and buying groups.

* Work with AP to resolve issues regarding vendor invoices. Cost variances, receiving variances, etc.

* Manage physical inventory counts and cycle counts throughout the year.

* Enter inventory adjustments, write offs, and damages.

* Create and reconcile settlements for 3rd party events. This includes start counts, end counts, and sales posting.

* Analyze the kit production process and detail review of the average costs of products.

* Compare perpetual inventory system reports to on hand quantities.

* Research and resolve order processing calculations, and system functionality related to inventory transactions.

* Coordinate, supervise, lead, and manage the workload of the Inventory Specialist, Sr Inventory Specialist, and cycle count positions.

* Apply loss prevention techniques and develop procedures to safeguard assets.

* Prepare in depth analysis and reporting on inventory transactions and balances.

* Assist with other duties as assigned.

* Other duties may be assigned

* Month end/Year end accounting reconciliations.

* Inventory audits and communication with banks.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

* Associates or four year college degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred

* Minimum 5 years work experience in accounting or finance or inventory related area

* Experience leading and managing a team

* Advanced technical knowledge of an accounting ERP system, data processing and Microsoft Excel

* Multi-task oriented with desire to work in a fast paced environment

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Desire to learn and advance

* Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

* Strong organization, decision making and critical reasoning skills

* High level of attention to detail and accuracy

* Ability to travel for extended periods of time and have flexible hours based on team event schedules.
