Labor - $16 Benefits. Sterling Heights, MI - Job Description: Assist in various tasks within the metal fabrication shop under the direction of supervisors and skilled workers. Operate basic hand tools and equipment such as grinders, saws, drills, and measuring devices. Load and unload materials, parts, or products manually or with the use of equipment. Clean and prepare work areas, tools, and equipment for use. Perform assembly tasks as directed, which may include fitting, welding preparation, or finishing work. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Support other team members in completing tasks efficiently and meeting production goals. Occasionally assist in material handling or inventory tasks as required. Learn and develop skills in metal fabrication techniques and processes. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment is a plus.
