One of our client is a publicly traded biotech firm specializing in oncology. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our executive team and drive our financial strategy. This Sr. Director of FP&A will play a critical role in guiding the financial strategy, providing strategic financial insights, and partnering with senior leadership to support business growth and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biotech, experience in a publicly traded environment, and a proven track record of driving financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Provide financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives, including M&A activities, capital allocation, and investment opportunities.
- Partner with department heads to develop financial plans and monitor performance against budget.
- Support decision-making with robust financial analysis and business case development.
- Act as a key liaison between finance and other departments to drive cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of driving financial performance and delivering strategic financial insights.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
