Position: Director of Nursing

Location: Cascade, Colorado

Work Environment: Residential Treatment | Inpatient

Compensation: $108k-115k Annual Salary

Schedule: Full Time | Monday to Friday + On Call

About The Role:

As the Director of Nursing at Sandstone Care, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standard of medical care within our in-patient medical detox and residential treatment program. Here's how you make an impact:

Leadership: You lead and support our nursing and behavioral health tech team, setting the tone for excellence. Your guidance ensures that patients receive compassionate care throughout their recovery journey.
Strategic Scheduling: You coordinate weekly schedules based on facility needs and staffing assessments. Flexibility is key you're ready to step in during emergent situations, ensuring seamless care delivery.
Staff Development: You foster growth by providing training, accountability, and mentorship. Your leadership sets the culture, emphasizing professionalism, empathy, and teamwork.

Training & Experience:

Valid driver's license with no restrictions
RN license in the state of Colorado
All direct care staff must be CPR certified prior to beginning employment

Previous experience with treatment of substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders is preferred; preferred experience with a treatment facility working with adolescents, residential, partial hospitalization ("PHP"), and/or intensive outpatient ("IOP) setting
Ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year of experience in the behavioral health field.
Ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year of experience working with adolescents
Ideal candidate has an interest in nursing leadership and the desire for professional growth and development.
