We, the parents, are consultants and business owners. When not working, we enjoy sports, concerts, everything outdoors (hiking, biking, atving, fishing, hunting, exploring), but we're also comfortable just unwinding next to a fire, watching the stars. We are peaceful, low-to-no drama family. We enjoy regular exercise, meditation, and aim to keep fit, healthy lives. We also enjoy working with our hands and have a ton of hobbies. Our children are active, have no food allergies, some seasonal allergies. During school year, children follow regular routines. They all enjoy traveling and have adventurous spirits as well. Oldest is interested in becoming an Architect or Engineer, middle child loves piano and violin, and youngest TBD- she is fearless. House rules: - No outdoor shoes; must be left at front, or rear door upon entry. **Job Description**
Position requires one to be comfortable traveling with the family for work and/or vacation; typically, within the United States. Covid conscious family- travel by Class-A Luxury Motorhome; occasional, air flight required. Family works from home in Schiller Park, next to O'Hare airport; and, travel up to 14 days/month to Denver, CO for work over the next 6-9 months. Please note: additional travel destinations to be added over the years as new projects become available and vacations are planned. Hours vary depending on location. Earliest start time: 7am Latest end time: 6pm. Typically, Monday- Friday. Occasional travel will be needed on weekends. Otherwise, nights and weekends off. Regular daily duties of the position include: care for 3yo- supervision, toddler play and educational activities, music/arts/crafts, outings, outdoor play, meal/prep, tidy up and laundry related to child, pickup/drop off between school/activities. Field trips vary by location of work and season. Occasional duties: 14yo and/or 8yo may require pick up or drop off at local school and/or after school activities, walk the dog, coverage for evening business meeting, or date-night. Additional office and/or household tasks available to candidate with proper training and experience. Tasks include, but are not limited to: - weekly housekeeping above and beyond toddler care, - help packing/unpacking travel prior to and returning from trips, - family meal prep/cooking, - assistance organizing parties and events, - administrative assistant work- filing paperwork, answering emails, gathering information, etc. Benefits to include: When traveling with family for work and/or vacations: meals, activities and accommodations will be provided by family. CPR/AED/First Aid training costs covered, if not already certified. Season pass to zoos, museums, adventure parks (six flags, etc), national parks (near working locations), fishing and/or hunting licenses (if of interest), pool passes, etc. (usability limited to state and/or federal regulations regarding Covid) Cell will be provided, while employed by family. Candidate must agree to keep charged, respond to parents promptly, and not post images of children online. Additional benefits based on individual candidate's needs: health insurance, Live-In vs. Live-Out, vehicle use and/or transportation. Salary offered based on: experience, educational background, length of availability, Live-In vs. Live-out, and total number of hours willing to work/week.
