Looking for 1st and 2nd shift 6G welders. Would you enjoy an opportunity to join a very well respected company? As a member of the Welding team you work in the manufacturing of commercial sized HVAC units.

You can go to work in a few days in an environmentally controlled, clean, and safe facility which includes a full service cafeteria offering breakfast and lunch. This team works hard but in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Production goals are focused on quality, not quantity.

The normal 1st shift schedule is 6 AM to 2:30 pm; 2nd shift Monday through Friday, 4:30 pm to 1:00 am shift . Expect overtime and on some Saturdays. Steel toed shoes are required but not provided. All other PPE is provided (e.g. gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks)

  • Must be able to pass a 6G MIG test. Uphill semi-auto pulse spray GMAW Pipe Test.
  • Performs layout and fits up work using fixtures or positioners
  • Welds various metals using Pulsed MIG or Submerged arc processes
  • Operates the equipment in a safe manner and reports hazards associated with the equipment to the supervisor
  • Produces penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous and consistent
  • Follows required procedures and uses appropriate jigs and fixtures to assist in the assembly process
  • Performs a variety of brazing functions encompassing all materials
  • Performs hand grinding and forming work as needed
  • Cleans and maintains an orderly work area
  • Communicates effectively with others
  • Assists others individuals in area when needed
  • 1st Shift 6G Welders $27/hr.
  • 2nd shift 6G Welders $28/hr.
Must be able to pass clients background requirements. Have GREAT attendance Reliable transporation (no bus lines) Must have a diploma/GED to eventually get hired on Send me your resume outlining your experience or schooling

Responsibilities

  • Welds various metals using Pulsed MIG, Short-Arc MIG or Submerged arc processes
  • Follow and promote all safety guidelines
  • Learn how to read blueprints/schematics and perform brazing on copper piping
  • Meet daily production goals and adhere to quality standards
  • Must be tested and pass
  • 6G MIG pays $27/hr.
  • 6 G MIG $28/hr
