Job Description SummaryResponsible for setting up and operating assigned machinesJob DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:Runs product as requiredCompletes machine set-upLoads tool and tool holders as requiredJaw cutting and re-cuttingSets fixture offsets as requiredVerifies correct tool hardware, tool diameter, tool radius, drill length and end millsVerifies accuracy of tool offset changes as neededPerform periodic inspections of calibrationRead and process parts and visual braze inspectionMaintains accurate work recordsUtilizes precision measuring instruments to inspect partsWillingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as requiredQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDPossess strong analytical and problem solving skillsRead, understand and utilize procedures, sketches, and blueprints as well as perform basic mathematical calculationsHave working knowledge of precision measuring equipment and demonstrated ability to work within a team environmentCommunicate effectively and professionally with others, both written and verbalFollow and promote safe work practicesSupport lean initiativesLift light to medium weight in an environment that may occasionally require crouching, stooping and / or awkward work positionsWillingness to support team concept and learn / perform other duties as requiredMilling and Turning experienceAdditional InformationGE offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
