Do you take pride in your customer service and teamwork skills? GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Works in a fast-paced clinic office with other Customer Service Representatives. Data entry into EMR (electronic medical records). Answers and directs telephone calls, distributes documents in the office, and schedules appointments. Checks patients in upon arrival and out before they leave the clinic. Collects payment, and answers patients questions. Ensures quality of service to patients of The Rural Alliance for Better Family Health DBA Southern Missouri Community HealthCare (SMCHC). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required. Completion of courses in health records, computers, word processing, and typing helpful. Previous experience in operation of office machines: personal computer, printer, FAX, copier, postage machine and typewriter. A means of transportation that would facilitate travel between clinics and to out of town meetings and training when it is deemed necessary and appropriate. Travel may be required with or without advance notice. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of courses in health records, computers, word processing, and typing helpful. Six months patient check-in/check-out, chart filing, appointment setting, or phone answering experience in a clinic office. Completion of courses in medical or dental terminology, business, math, English, typing, and computer classes.
