Position Details:

Summary of Duties:

Under general supervision, perform a variety of duties in support of the Office of Admissions in order to meet the desired outcome of Enrollment Management as well as the strategic goals of the university and the department. Under general supervision, assist with varied functions or services in support of the office which includes the receipt, processing and notification of students applying for undergraduate admission. Maintain and ensure a confidential environment at all times. Assist with coverage of the lobby and scheduling of the meeting room.

Required Qualifications:

* High School graduation or equivalent and one year of clerical experience; OR equivalent education/experience

* Customer service experience

* Strong computer skills and competency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

* Ability to handle confidential documents and information

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Experience working with confidential records

* Experience serving as a point of contact in an office environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in higher education

* Familiarity with Washington State University

* Experience with interacting with a diverse clientele

Monthly Salary:

$2,889 to $3,811 Range 32 (Step A - M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28 .
