We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our Legal departments. This is an entry level position with an emphasis on administrative qualifications. This position requires knowledge of bookkeeping practices, methods, and basic accounting. Assisting with customer service, emailing formats, client data entry, developing a productive work environment and supporting the attorney. As an entry level position, the salary ranges from $42,000-$45,000 depending on level of experience. APPLY TODAY if interested!

Responsibilities

  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities
  • Work well with others and have a positive attitude. Willing to work hard and take instruction from Legal administrators, and attorneys.
  • Data entry, account reconciliation, journal entries, performing calculations, examining financial documents, preparing financial summary reports, and other tasks as assigned
  • Communicate directly with staff and management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain confidential information diligently and securely
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, email, and Quickbooks
