Rehrig Pacific Company (RPC) is a leading manufacturer of re-usable plastic containers. In this application residential Trash, Recycle and Yard Waste containers (carts) as used by residential waste collection companies. RPC also provides asset tracking, recovery, storage, repair/washing, and/or disposal of these carts. We currently have an immediate opening for a Container Management Driver. Please see description below.

**Container Management Driver**

Container Management Drivers are responsible for the delivery, pick up, repair, and conditioning of recycling and residential garbage carts. The position routinely requires physical exertions such as repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling receptacles that weigh from 25 to 50 pounds as part of their daily routine. This position involves mounting and dismounting the truck.

Our drivers must have safe driving records. They also must communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and other departments at all times. Drivers must be able to read and understand a map, GPS devices, complete daily driver logs as well as pre and post trip truck inspections. Drivers must be able to perform physical inventories, and have basic computer skills. Basic knowledge of hand tools, small power equipment, and handheld scanners.

This is a full time job with full benefit options.

This position will require you to work in all weather extremes including extreme hot or cold, wet or dry conditions.

**Minimum qualifications of this position include:**

3 years safe driving experience

Legally eligible to work in the United States

Valid Drivers License - CDL NOT required

Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check.

Must be able to pass DOT requirements for a medical card

Knowledge of Detroit and surrounding areas extremely helpful
