We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in maintaining and improving the quality of products and processes. This role requires a deep understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards, raw material inventory, production processes, quality standards, statistics, reports, programs, quality assurance, testing, equipment calibration, RMA, process improvement, and engineering. This is a highly interactive role, and the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with various teams to ensure the highest level of quality is maintained throughout our operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Quality Control department and provide guidance to the team.
- Develop and implement quality control programs in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Monitor raw material inventory and production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze statistical data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct routine quality assurance tests and equipment calibrations to ensure product consistency and adherence to standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve any issues related to quality control, including RMA processes.
- Drive continuous process improvements, utilizing engineering principles and quality control tools.
- Ensure that all quality control processes and procedures are well-documented and updated regularly.
- Train and mentor team members in quality control procedures and standards.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Control Supervisor role in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, raw material inventory, production processes, quality standards, statistics, reports, programs, quality assurance, testing, equipment calibration, RMA, process improvement, and engineering.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of statistical process control, process control equipment, and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using quality control software and related tools.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous process improvements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Certification in Quality Control or a related field is a plus.
