Position Overview:

The Loan Officer at West Michigan Mortgage is a pivotal sales role focused on originating new residential mortgage loans. This position involves proactive efforts to establish and cultivate new relationships with Realtors to drive business growth. As the forefront of our commitment to redefining the mortgage experience, the Loan Officer plays a crucial ill role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate new mortgage loans by establishing and expanding relationships with Realtors
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and uphold the company's five-star service standard
  • Utilize company provided leads and marketing resources effectively to generate and close loans
  • Participate in company organized Realtor events to enhance network and referral partnerships
  • Achieve a minimum loan volume of $5 million per year


Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid NMLS license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage loan origination
  • Proven track record of achieving at least $5 million in loan volume per year
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively influence clients and partners
  • Strong sales orientation with a proven ability to close deals
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with effective time management and organizational skills
