Job Description:
Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.
General Job duties:
Night Shift 13-week contract - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first full week of orientation -
Will be required to work various shift lengths and various days. Must be flexible. No guarantee of hours. No guarantee of shift preference.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept:
Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes;
Required skills and minimum years of experience:
2-10 years experience
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required:
BLS, ACLS
Floating to other units/departments:
May float to Med Surg and PCU
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept:
TCU 24 bed
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit:
1:8 nurse with 1:1 aide

All Travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to start of assignment. This appointment will be scheduled at Hilo Employee Health and traveler must report. Please plan on having your traveler in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start so they can report to Employee Health Friday morning
