Job Summary

Under the direction of the Student Services Director or designee, the primary function of the School Nurse is to provide school health and nursing services to students; promote health and prevention education and safety; serve as a technical and health education resource to students, personnel and the community. The School Nurse will work to incorporate health care plans directed by physicians; comply with the laws relating to student health, including parental and guardian consent; provide appropriate care for ill, medically fragile and/or injured students.

Natomas Charter School participates in CalSTRS or CalPERS retirement for all employees.

Requirements / Qualifications

Natomas Charter School (NCS) is seeking motivated, intelligent and creative School Nurse.

Minimum Required Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
2. Possession of a valid School Nurse credential issued by the State of California.
3. Possession of a Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California.
