Distribution Dispatcher
Job Functions & Tasks:
- Safety First: Promote and enforce the company s Safety and Health programs to keep the team safe.
- Know the Policies: Be knowledgeable about written company and department policies and procedures.
- Ethical Behavior: Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Corporate Compliance Policy.
- Effective Communication: Operate company communication equipment efficiently.
- Track Crews: Monitor crew locations and ongoing work on the distribution system.
- Emergency Response: Dispatch service personnel promptly during outages and emergencies.
- Energize and Restore: Authorize the energizing and restoration of distribution facilities.
- Accurate Records: Maintain accurate outage records.
- Equipment Management: Keep detailed records of abnormal and defective equipment for distribution facilities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology
- Bachelor of Science in any field or equivalent education and/or experience
Required Pre-Employment Tests:
- EEIDEB - SASS Basic Data Entry
- EEISOPD - System Oper Power Dispatching
