Duties
JAMP School Social Workers provide support for students in our member districts. They plan and conduct social emotional evaluations for IEP meetings. They conduct and assist with functional behavioral assessments and some write behavior intervention plans. They provide direct social work service minutes to special education students. They also participate on some school district threat assessment teams.
Qualifications
Illinois Professional Educator License in School Social Work or enrolled in a School Social Work masters program internship.

JAMP school social workers collaborate to improve student outcomes. They work closely with a team of dedicated teachers, aides, school staff, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech and language pathologists, vision and hearing impaired specialists, school psychologists, and many others.
