Job Details
Employee conducts periodic counting of items to ensure accurate inventory records. They provide a continuous pulse check, bridging the gap between recorded data and actual stock.
Conduct daily or weekly counts of selected items, ensuring no discrepancy between system data and physical stock.
Identify and report variances between the electronic inventory system and the actual count. This might involve collaboration with the inventory or finance departments.
Update inventory systems with data entry of accurate counts, ensuring real-time data accuracy
Assists the lead person and supervisor with the responsibility of meeting safety, quality, and production goals.
Assist in determining root causes for discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
Be familiar with the equipment in the department.
Ensures work area is kept clean and sanitary.
Follow GMP s and make sure employees are following GMP s.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Attention to detail - eye for accuracy to spot discrepancies.
Some high school or equivalent experience
Computer experience - Familiarity with inventory software and tools
1 year of on-the-job experience preferred with demonstrated understanding of process flow, quality, efficiency, safety and organizational requirements in the department assigned.
