Overview:

Provides patient care applying specialized knowledge and demonstrated clinical nursing skills. Maintains all required Nursing certifications and licenses. Performs nursing duties applying trained expertise, as well as ensuring patients receive the level of care and attention representative of the company's high-level mission and commitments to the healthcare community.

Responsibilities:
  • Helps establish and implement results-based programs and innovative initiatives for the Nursing unit, under general supervision.
  • Contributes to components of projects, programs, or processes for the Nursing area.
  • Implements, interprets and enforces work standards and procedures on the assigned shift that are in compliance with hospital policies, governmental regulations and various regulatory agency requirements.
  • Provides direct patient care when higher levels of skill and judgement are required.
  • Determines the placement of patients according to nursing care needs and coordinate the transfer of patients or equipment in accordance with hospital policy.
  • Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
  • Understands and applies the organization's mission, vision, and core values of improving health and promoting well-being in day-to-day interactions with Nursing team.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree Nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 1-3 years Required
  • Mastery of problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Mastery of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills.
  • Mastery of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills.
  • Ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  • Ability to function in clinical setting with diverse cultural dynamics of clinical staff and patients.
  • Mastery knowledge of phases of care transitions and resources available for patients.
  • Mastery of digital literacy skills.
