Position Title: Ticket Taker

Reports To: Events & Operations Manager / Ticket Taker Supervisor

Supervises: N/A

Classification: Part-Time, Hourly

Pay Range: $9

Job Responsibilities

* Greet visitors with a courteous and friendly attitude.

* Scan barcode on tickets using electronic scanner.

* Ensure patrons have valid tickets to enter.

* Stamp hands of exiting visitors for same day reentry.

* Enforce ticket rules posted at gate.

* Assist security by being aware and reporting any suspicious or potentially illegal activity or situations.

* Provide and wear the required uniform for every shift.

* Assist in other departments as needed.

* Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

* Extended hours, nights and weekends may be required during peak periods.

* Perform assigned tasks throughout various indoor and outdoor locations within and around the property and in potentially inclement/severe weather conditions.

* Some tasks may require lifting, carrying and putting away items weighing up to 15 lbs.

* Prolonged physical exertions may be required including walking, standing, sitting, seeing, hearing, reaching and grasping.
