**Description**

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Short to Mid Term Inventory Planning using IBP Optimizer.

* Work directly with Sales, Trade Marketing, Customer Service to achieve customer fill rate goals.

* Brand Grouping Strategy Execution

+ Develop inventory brand strategies by product group, form type and labor description.

+ Forecast review of items selling above or below demand. Communicates differences with demand planning.

+ Manage inventory levels while working closely with purchasing and planning.

+ Safety, lot size and expiry review

* Analyze stock requirements and inventory days on hand at multiple plants by coordinating material movements through the creation of Stock Transport Orders (STO) between distribution centers to minimize freight costs and satisfy demand.

* Participate in the Monthly Stage Gate Meetings covering new product.

* Participate on project teams.

* Establish close working relationships with cross functional areas including: Marketing, Product Development, Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Technical Manufacturing, Production Planning, and Demand Planning.

* Responsible to maintain leadership role by striving for people excellence, actively working with the Operations team to continue to improve, gain insight from mistakes, provide feedback, demonstrate technical excellence, and seek and share knowledge.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field and two years inventory experience.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, M/S Project, Excel, & Word

* Project management experience or training

* Supply chain education or experience

* Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems

* Working knowledge of Bills of Material and planning level
