Come build the first distributed utility with us, propelling the biggest energy transformation of our lifetime.The RoleAs our Warehouse Team Lead, you ll be responsible for mentoring a team to deliver operational excellence across all warehouse functions. The Lead will join a team that plays an integral role in delivering material to the line in just in time fashion. This individual will work hand and hand with the Shift Supervisor & cross functional teams, ensuring that their team is set up for success to work safely and productively, and serving as the point of escalation for daily operations.What you ll do:Support in Maintaining a highly accurate inventory report and highly efficient and safe warehouse operation to ensure continued supply to the manufacturing linesAllocate labor as needed throughout a variety of different functionsMaintain a well organized warehouse with all materials identifiable and in systemAssist with Root Cause Corrective Action analysis related to KPIs like Delivery, Safety, Quality & ProductivityGive daily and weekly reports that help create, implement, and improve procedures, standards, and equipment to facilitate more safe and efficient workAssume responsibility of departmental goals including inventory control through cycle counts and participate in achieving goals on a daily basisProvide associates with the necessary tools, and proper guidance to excel at daily tasksCoordinate with manufacturing and material planning teams to mitigate shortages or surplusComplete auditable records: packing slips, pick lists, shift handoff paperworkDeliver
materials from warehouse to manufacturing line when neededAssist
in training warehouse associates on warehouse and operational proceduresSkills to be Successful:Experience with various Warehouse Management SystemsProven ability to mentor & lead warehouse associatesSelf-motivated , positive, and a team playerDemonstrating experience as an effective communicator with the ability to lead a teamAbility to perform repetitive duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of timeStrong Forklift background and certificationAbility to work within different IT systems and tools: ERP, WMS, Microsoft Office, etc.Must be able to handle materials weighing up to 50 lbsExcellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve successOpen availability to work all shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidaysImplementation of training on warehouse and operational functionsProviding daily/weekly reports on warehouse projects / tasksNice to have:Previous Warehouse experience in a manufacturing settingSelf-starter, able to adapt and prioritize in a rapidly growing and changing environmentExperience in delivery to line proceduresRF - Smart Inventory Management softwareShift and Compensation details:Shift: 1pm-9:30pmCompensation: $30-32/HRPay EquityMoxion is committed to the principle of pay equity paying employees equitably for substantially similar work. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change.Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above.
