**Description**

**Austin Commercial** is currently seeking **laborers** for projects in the **Fort Worth area.** Our laborers ensure that work is done safely, correctly, and timely. They'll provide semi-skilled duties in a labor crew engaged in the construction of a large commercial structure. Laborers, carpenters, and elevator operators are highly encouraged to apply.

**Responsibilities**

* Follows all company safety policies and procedures

* Clean and prepare construction sites

* Load or unload building materials to be used in construction

* Build or take apart bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures

* Dig trenches, backfill holes, or compact earth to prepare for construction

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

* The employee must be able to climb and maintain balance on stairs, ladders and/or scaffolds.

* The employee frequently is required to sit, bend, stand, walk, or squat; use hands and arms to finger, feel, reach for, handle, and/or manipulate objects.

* The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.

* The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions, and ability to adjust focus (either naturally or with correction).

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.

* Must be able to work around concrete and various concrete mixtures, curing compounds, acids, chemicals, brick cleaning solutions, fuel vapors, dust, paints, varnishes, and other industrial chemicals, etc. without allergic reactions.

* Must be able to work at great heights without fear.

* The noise level in the work environment and job sites is usually loud.

**Requirements**

* Entry level

* Relevant experience preferred

* Ability to work in hot and cold conditions

* Ability to work at heights without fear

* Work hours: Monday through Friday, between 6:30am to 4pm
