**Description**

Cordova Safety Products, a division of Bunzl Distribution, is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our location in Memphis. The Customer Service Representative will answer customer inquiries, enter and successfully process orders (40-50 daily), as well as investigate customer inquiries and shipping issues to a successful resolution. This position will maintain relationships with both internal and external customers with exceptional service.

***Responsibilities:***

* Handle a variety of in-bound calls to determine the appropriate course of action

* Ensure delivery of excellent customer service through prompt and accurate processing of orders

* Communicate and coordinate with other departments to resolve inquiries

* Serve as a liaison between customers and the industrial sales department

* Provide pricing and delivery information

* Promote customer loyalty by building and maintaining business relationships with customers

* Make out-bound calls to keep clients updated on promotions, new products, and attempt to secure new orders

* Assist customers in the selection of products according to their needs and requirements

* Utilize computer systems to assist with pricing, availability and alternate product selection

* Receive orders and resolve pricing situations encountered during customer transactions using current sales policies

* Work effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish company goals and to identify and resolve problems

* Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and errors, including obtaining proof of deliveries from the freight carrier and pulling necessary internal documents; will submit credit requests

* Assist with processing and shipping sample orders when the Sample Clerk is out of the office

* Follow up with the customer on the performance of a sample order to obtain a full order, if possible

* Maintain a clean, safe, organized working environment

* Conduct all functions, duties and responsibilities in a professional manner with a positive attitude and demeanor

***Requirements:***

* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

* Minimum 3 years of customer service experience

* Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities

* Bilingual in Spanish preferred (reading, writing, speaking)

* Handle all requests in a timely and accurate manner

* Ability to multitask and be detail-oriented

* Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment

* Positive and professional attitude

* Ability to work in a team environment

* A high degree of energy, reliability, and organizational skills

* Computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

* Familiarity with contact database applications
