The Market Specialist is responsible for reviewing high cost or complex cost estimates for engine events to develop a strategic cost effect solution. In addition, the MS is to drive the invoice to completion. The MS works in close partnership with the sales, credit, programs, & warranty team in order to provide commercial solutions. The MS must have good verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and be able to think critically. The MS must also have the ability to adjust and manage priorities, have time management skills, be self-directed and obtain gratification from satisfying the needs of our customers. The MS must have the ability to balance operational goals with satisfying customer commitments while maintaining profitability.
Additional duties would include, but are not limited to;
Manage profitability of customer events
Analyze cost estimates, invoices, and warranty application
Support to Event Managers with complex cost challenges
Drive closure to invoice disputes
Ensure export control and ITAR compliance
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Bachelors Degree & 5+ years experience
Masters Degree & 3+ years experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Previous warranty experience involving PWC products
Experience with cost reduction strategy
Business negotiation training and skills
Familiarity with Sarbanes/Oxley requirements
**Additional Comments:**
Must be willing to travel and work extended hours.
Weekend coverage occasionally required.
