**Location(s):** **RELATED PLANT** Areas of Responsibilities : **2nd SHIFT: 4PM - 12AM MIDNIGHT w/MANDATORY OVERTIME**
As a Corn Cooker, you will p repare raw batches of corn to be used in the production of corn-based products.
**DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Prepare batches of corn by filling kettle with water and adding corn and lime
* Observe and maintain cooking time
* Cook corn and agitate, then transfer to the holding tank
* Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
**WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITES:**
* Perform Weekly/Weekend cleaning on kettles, tanks, and surrounding areas
* Work with cleaning chemicals
* Always utilize all required PPE .
**OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Perform any added duties as assigned by supervision
* Attend required training sessions
* Work overtime, as required
* Follow GHP (Good Housekeeping practices) as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
* Work towards attaining and maintaining GFSI & BRC certifications
**Education and Experience:**
**Required:**
* GENERAL EDUCATION
* ABILITY TO FOLLOW VERBAL AND WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND COMMUNICATION
**Preferred:**
* HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR G.E.D.
* ADVANCED SCHOOLING
