Customer Service Representative- Urology
Provide excellent customer service via telephone to prospective new and current patients.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Handle a high volume of inbound, non-clinical calls from patients and potential patients
* Gather and accurately enter necessary data while building patient files
* Provide guidance and clear direction to patients during the phone intake process
* Demonstrate professional etiquette and courtesy when interacting with patients
* Disseminate necessary patient information to correct personnel by assessing the urgency of each patient request
* Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
* Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies
* Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
**Minimum Required Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* 1 year of customer service experience preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent active listening skills
* Ability to multitask shifting between open applications as you speak with patients
* Ability to type 40+ words per minute with accuracy
