Wyndham Grand is now seeking a Linen Room Attendant to join our team at the Wyndham Orlando Bonnet Creek location in Orlando , Florida .

**Job Summary**

The Linen Room Attendant is responsible for coordinating all clerical functions of the Housekeeping Office. He/she is may also be required to perform the duties of a Uniform Attendant.

**Education & Experience**

* High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

* Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

**Physical Requirements**

* Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

* Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

* Ability to stand during entire shift.

**General Requirements**

* Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.

* Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.

* Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

* Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.

* Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.

* Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.

* Comply with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

* Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.

* Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.

* Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.

* Must be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas.

* Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.

* Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.

* Perform other duties as requested by management.

* Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.

**Fundamental Requirements**

* Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.

* Print Housekeeping Opening Reports. Complete room assignments for Room Attendants boards.

* Add list of pre-assigned VIP guestrooms to opening report.

* Enter cleaned rooms into computer as checked by the Floor Supervisor.

* Clear discrepant rooms with the Front Office.

* Coordinate Room Attendants requests to their Housekeeping Aides via phone/pager or in person.

* Respond to all incoming calls and handle guest requests, issues and complaints to provide quality service and ensure guest satisfaction.

* Relay to Engineering any Maintenance Requests called in by Room Attendants. Communicate this information to Floor Supervisor for that section.

* Produce daily reports of house count and distribute to housekeeping staff.

* Maintain and control supply and linen inventories; issue and receive guest and cleaning supplies to ensure appropriate levels are maintained and control costs.

* Maintain all Housekeeping forms.

* Stock Room Attendants caddies (if applicable).

* Maintain cleanliness of main linen room and offices.

* Log all Lost and Found items in the logbook and secure items in the storage closet. Distribute items according to hotel standards.

* Perform duties of Uniform Attendant/Seamstress as required. (see Uniform Attendant job description)

* Assist in Laundry when necessary.

* Issue uniforms and maintain uniform logs.

* Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
