Advanced Field Service TechnicianSalina, UTJob TypeFull-timeDescriptionWheeler Machinery Co. is seeking to hire an Advanced Field Service Technician to perform equipment repairs at their Salina, UT location. This is a full-time benefited position. Advanced Field Service Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting and repairs on all makes and models of Caterpillar equipment to ensure proper factory specifications and correct system operation. This may include disassembly and assembly, diagnosis, testing, inspection and set up. Must be safety minded, have a positive attitude, and willing to work hard to make a positive impact on our customers and Wheeler Machinery. This position will require the technician to work where they are needed in our Southern Utah areas.Duties & Responsibilities:Utilize TRACK and safe working habits in all aspects.Perform field service troubleshooting and repairs on all CAT equipment.Must comply with all DOT regulations.Maintain field service truck and company provided equipment.Order and Return parts.Maintain and complete daily reports, paperwork, DOT logs, inspections, and timecards.Demonstrate excellent work ethic with self-motivation, ability to work safely with minimal supervision on customer job sites, while maintaining expectations of thoroughness.Have the ability to keep up with new technology and advancements.Required Qualifications:Experience using Cat ET and SIS.Field Service experience and 5 yrs.
