Description
Summary:
This is a 24-hour per week position, covering two 12 hours shifts from 7am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday only.
This position cleans and disinfects areas of hospital and health centers using prescribed methods.

Requirements
Education, Training or Certifications Required:
- Ability to read and correctly interpret work assignments.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
Experience Required: - None required, but preferred.
Special Requirements:Cognitive Requirements: - Ability to determine when to yield to medical professionals.
- Ability to withstand emotional pressures associated within the medical setting.
Physical Demands: - Ability to be on feet most of shift.
- Ability to lift, pull, push, stoop and reach.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
- Adequate vision.
- No significant allergy to dust or cleaning supplies.
Environment: - Must be able to work in presence of other employees, patients, and visitors of the Hospital.
- May be exposed to hazardous waste and/or body fluids.
- Ability to work with floor strippers and other harsh chemical fumes.
- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.
- Ability to withstand equipment heat and noise.
