The Warehouse Associate handles receipts from carriers, unpacks and checks the condition and content of deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips, and distributes materials to end users. This individual will coordinate corrections of shipment errors through Purchasing. Other duties may be assigned by the Manager.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Ensuring the security, tracking, and accountability of materials and goods required for inventory control of controlled and non-controlled items.

* Data input into the SAP system for receiving / shipping of controlled /non-controlled and DEA Controlled Materials, quarantining materials, and transferring material to and from Manufacturing into released materials and shipments.

* Physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials for all departments.

* Maintain adherence to established protocols and applicable SOPs for shipping / receiving, and recognize and correct deviations from those protocols and procedures.

* Ensuring all cGMP material receipts are handled in accordance with applicable FDA/DEA and cGMP procedures and properly segregated in the warehouse.

* Maintaining security and tracking of all controlled substance and regulated materials receipts and / or shipments.

* Ensuring all receipts, transfers, and shipments are promptly entered into SAP in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures.

* Coordinating with end users and vendors for returned shipments.

* Performing accurate Cycle Counts and investigations into errors that are found.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required.

* Must be extremely service and internal customer oriented.

* Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

* Must be a proactive problem solver.

* Knowledge of routine shipping procedures (i.e. Fed Ex, Airborne, UPS, etc.).

* Knowledge of shipping procedures for hazardous materials.

* Knowledge of material receipt, quarantine, release, distribution, and reconciliation procedures.

* Experience with material handling equipment: forklifts, hand truck, and two-wheel dolly.

* Requires strong math skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

* Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. overhead.

* Working knowledge of CGMPs, OSHA, EPA, and FDA regulations related to warehousing.

* Must have a valid drivers license and be familiar with roads and highways in the area.

* Must have basic computer skills and good math skills.

* Ability to work independently.

* Must be punctual, dependable, and organized.

* Attention to detail, especially as related to documentation and materials CGMP.

* Positive attitude and excellent work ethic and a team player.

* Understands company objectives.

**Requirements**

Basic Requirements

* Minimum of two (2) years direct SAP experience in a receiving / shipping operation, preferably in a cGMP environment.

* High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Requirements

* Associates degree or BA / BS considered a plus.

* Must be familiar with DOT and cGMP requirements and documentation.
