**Full Time: Must be available to work evenings, 1 weekend day, and have split days off in the beginning, eventually having 2 consecutive days off.**

**Job Description:**
This position serves as a liaison between our customers, all company departments, and manufacturers in order to effectively resolve any and all customer issues and to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Promptly, professionally and courteously answers phone calls from our customers and maintain a ready status
* Answer and maintain an acceptable level of calls per hour and maintain an acceptable call time
* Assist customers, employees, and other team members with product knowledge, questions, and warranty issues
* Prioritize duties and manage time to work effectively to handle the sensitive and heavy workload
* Research customer buy history in order to obtain customer and/or product information needed to effectively resolve customer concerns
* Process, coordinate, and schedule furniture deliveries, pick-ups, service calls, part orders, extended warranty claims, returns, and exchanges of defective products based on scheduling availability and stock levels
* Maintain a calm, positive, cooperative, professional manner at all times, in stressful situations, and in dealing with both customers and Homemakers team members
* The above responsibilities and additional duties may vary as assigned
**Job Requirements**:
We are looking for a solid, reliable worker with a strong work ethic and a positive, engaging personality. You must be highly organized and detail-oriented while still being able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* High School Diploma or GED
* 1-2 years retail and/or customer service experience
* Strong time management skills
* Can work independently
* **Ability to work retail hours (includes evenings, weekends, and some holidays)**
* Typing skills of 35 net wpm
* Data Entry skills of 60 kpm
* Basic computer skills
* Phone etiquette skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
**Physical Expectations:**
* Extended sitting at desk and use of computer
* Occasional standing and bending
**Environmental Conditions:**
* Will work indoors
* Conditions may include hot/cold temperatures, dusty surroundings, and a noisy work environment
