To learn more about Berry, visit Responsibilities Primary Function: Safely moves finished goods and supplies to designated areas ensuring all associated documentation is accurately filled out and properly submitted. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned. A Forklift Operator (Level 1), under the direction and supervision of Logistics Management, will be able to: Receive and warehouse raw goods from Warehouse, Inter-Plant Transfers and Vendors. Pick and load orders for shipment to Warehouse. Accurately load customer orders on trailers. Ensure the load will remain stable during transit and that the weight is properly distributed within the trailer. Inspect, drive and maintain assigned forklift as instructed through Berry Global training programs. Accurately document all activities associated with receiving, warehousing and shipping operations as instructed through Berry Global training programs. Comply with all safety rules and policies and report unsafe conditions to the Supervisor, Manager or Plant Safety Representative. Complete all assignments as directed by Management. Be willing and capable to work a 12-hour shift schedule, which could include weekdays, weekends, days and or night shifts. Fulfill other duties as assigned by management. Accurately order raw materials needed for the shift.
