**Inventory Control Specialist**

Cambridge, MA / Operations Team Supply Chain/Procurement / Non-exempt Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) is the surest path to limitless, clean fusion energy. We have created a credible path to an operating fusion power plant in 15 years which leverages our novel collaboration with MIT and funding from strategic and financial investors who share our vision. This begins by developing a new class of high-field superconducting magnets that will enable the SPARC tokamak to demonstrate net energy from fusion for the first time. To execute this plan, we are now looking to add talented people to the team who are mission-driven and treat people well, improve our team by adding diverse perspectives and new ways of solving problems, have demonstrated exceptional results through a range of different pursuits, and have skillsets and experience that relate to this role.

As a member of the logistics team this associate is responsible for assisting the team in meeting company objectives through warehouse and materials management. Ensures timely processing of shipping, receiving and material deliveries. + Obey all CFS Safety guidelines and policies on the loading dock and in the warehouse; correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors whiles maintaining a clean work environment

+ Receive and verify purchase orders and stock items appropriately

+ Pick and verify kits

+ Complete physical inventories, cycles counts, random or receipt audits and reconciliations

+ Provide inventory control reports as required

+ Research and correct inventory discrepancies and perform adjustments where needed

+ Identify, document and quarantine any damaged products

+ Assist in maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets for incoming materials

+ Ensure compliance with CFS Hazardous Material storage plans

+ Complete incoming inspection of components with the CFS Quality Assurance and Quality Control team

+ Ability to operate various Material Handling Equipment and obtain a DOT License

**The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements:**

+ Required Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent)

+ Required Experience: 3+ Yrs Inventory Control; and 2 Yrs ERP Experience

+ Start-up or high growth Environment (preferred)

+ Manufacturing Environment Experience (preferred)

+ Exceptional understanding of inventory management & warehouse operations

+ Solid understanding of ERP functionality

+ Strong computer skills with MS office or G-Suite applications

+ Excellent problem-solving skills

+ Learn quickly and adapt to new information and environments

**Additional experience and/or qualifications:**

+ Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs

+ Perform activities such as stooping, typing, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time

+ Withstand exposure to heat, cold, noise, and strong magnets

+ Willingness to occasionally work nights and weekend work
