To learn more about Berry, visit Responsibilities Set up and operation of extrusion equipment in accordance with established guidelines (i.e., correct resin, additives, line speed, temperature) Performs machine adjustments to maintain safety, quality, and production standards Meets established production requirements in accordance with production schedule Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure product meets specifications Performs first piece, periodic and finished product quality inspections including weight, width, length, and packaging to ensure conformance to standards; informs Production Supervisor and/or Team Leader of quality concerns Completes accurate production reporting and recordkeeping Troubleshoots equipment and process malfunctions; escalates concerns to Production Supervisor and/or Team Leader as needed Prepares, packs, and stages finished product for shipment Performs sample and/or trial operations as needed Maintains safe and clean work environment Observes all site safety, quality and production policies Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 2 years' manufacturing experience (blown film extrusion or film converting experience preferred) Mechanical and trouble shooting ability Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds repetitively Ability to continuously stand, walk, reach, stoop, and/or kneel Availability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays as scheduled Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) Good verbal, writing, and basic math skills Ability to work collaboratively with others We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
