**Job Title:** Inventory Control Specialist

**Job Summary:** Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Fort Wayne, IN. In this position you will be responsible for all material issues and returns throughout the company.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Responsible for material issues and returns

* Assigning equipment rentals and tracking tools per job

* Complete purchase order entry, national vendor coding and receiving

* Monthly reconciliation and year end physical inventory counts for all divisions

* Responsible for inventory within Fire Protection, Electrical, Mechanical, Service, Refrigeration, Process Controls, Ed Grace and Utility Divisions

* Help improve efficiency within the department

* Establishing Tools and Material numbers in the system

* Material pricing updates

* Other duties assigned

**Qualifications:**

* Working knowledge and experience in warehousing, in picking and storage operations

* Experience in operating different types of warehouse material handling equipment/software

* Possess ability to understand and interpret computer reports

* Good oral and written communication skills, both with co-workers and over the phone with outside company personnel

* Efficient in Microsoft office programs, Excel at minimum
