**SUMMARY**
The primary purpose of this position is to verify product location and quantities within the distribution center. The incumbent is required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
- Look up product information in the computer system to identify the products location and quantity in inventory.
- Locate the product in the distribution center to ensure the location noted in the computer system is correct.
- Count the number of items that are on the shelf and enter this information into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Stack items on the shelves after the verification process is complete.
**Supervisory Responsibilities**
This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.
**Experience / Requirements**
**The following qualities are required:**
* Minimum age of 18 years old due to the work environment.
* Ability to pass drug test.
* Committed to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
* Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
* Ability to work weekends and extended days on an occasional basis.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
The following qualities are helpful:
* Ability to work day or evening hours.
* Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
**Education**
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
