**POSITION PROFILE**

**Customer Service Representative Job Responsibilities:**

* Serves customers by providing product and service information and facilitates customers/projects success coordinating with Sales, Production and Procurement.

* Attracts and retains customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about alternative products and services.

* Opens customer accounts by recording account information and enters clients orders.

* Maintains customer records by updating account information.

* Helps resolve product or service accommodations by clarifying the customers request and determining with Sales, Production and Procurement the root cause of the perceived gap, identifying, and proposing the best solution to achieve satisfaction, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.

* Maintains financial accounts by processing customer payments and adjustments.

* In coordination with Sales, Procurement and Production recommends potential products or services/services to management by collecting customer information and understanding customer needs.

* Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Work Hours**

The role is hybrid requiring a mix of remote and in presence rotation assignments within the Edelman Leather Customer Service function. Flexible coverage of West Coast hours expected.

Required Experience

* High School Diploma/College degree

* Working knowledge of MS Office and Oracle

* Previous experience in the leather industry preferred
