**Inventory Control Specialist**
Myrtle Beach, SC, US Inventory The Inventory Specialists key objective is to assist the Inventory Team with day-to-day monitoring of PMS for inventory and reservation related issues.
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**
* Monitors PMS for reservation placement (room assignments) to ensure proper utilization
* Point of contact for resort staff for issues related to reservations including - inventory allocations, overbookings, out of order rooms, any other questions related to inventory/reservations
* Work with Resort Staff to identify operation best practices and desirable maintenance timeframes
* Handle all emergency out of service requests which may include reservation relocations
* Provide as needed inventory assistance to marketing, member services, and other sales channels to maximize inventory utilization
* Willing to be cross trained in all aspects of the department to assist where needed
* All other duties as requested
**Job Requirements**
**Education, Essential Training / Certifications and Experience:**
* High School Diploma/GED
* 1-2 Years Hotel/ Resort Operations or Timeshare experience preferred
**Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:**
* High level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel is required
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects is required
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Technically savvy, able to pickup and maneuver through several different systems
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to work with a high level of professionalism
* Flexible schedule, ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed
