We are seeking to add an Inventory Control Coordinator to our team. In this role you will be responsible for the following:
SUMMARY: Responsible for monitoring all computer input involving inventory control transactions to ensure that proper procedures are being adhered to. Act as liaison between each plant, shipping and receiving personnel, and production control managers concerning inventories.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Performs daily input of plant transfers and associated inventory transactions
* Monitors all computer input involving inventory transactions and coordinates the necessary corrections with each plant's input person
* Responsible for the coordination of the physical inventories in their plants, involving preparation planning, the directing of the inventory, and the finalization of the results
* Responsible for maintaining the component, packaging and raw material levels required to support the production schedules
* Insures proper routing of work-in-process product
* Contacts the appropriate vendors and schedules in material in the JIT Manner
* Works with Shipping and Receiving personnel and trains on proper procedures and policies
* Performs other tasks assigned by designated supervisor
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* Ability to learn, understand, perform and help maintain the computer-controlled inventory system. This includes ability to: input information, print inventory and/or system-related reports, review these reports and identify errors or problems and correct problems identified
* High school education or equivalent preferred
* Associates Degree in a Business related curriculum is preferred or equivalent work-related experience
