Second Shift: 3:00 pm - 1:00 am

Purpose:

To obtain traceability of Raw Ingredients, Packaging Materials, Blends and Finish Goods throughout the warehouse.

Activities at Pallet Station:

  • Print Production Schedule to determine which work orders are needed
  • Ensure every production line has printed work orders
  • Print the Specification of Finished Goods that will be produced for that shift
  • Produce Pallet Ticket for every Finished Goods
  • Produce Replacement or Missing Pallet Tickets when required and log them in the Inventory Journal
  • Log all "Pallet Inspection Forms" and follow procedure for Production Inspection
  • Verification of product and quantity of partial pallet before it is brought back to the production line
  • Coverage of coworkers during break and lunch time
  • Close out work orders and perform negative issue procedure for packaging materials.
  • Perform physical inventories
  • Follow GMP's and maintain a clean working environment
Activities in Dump Room:
  • Record weights of Hoppers for every blended work order on the hoppers and the "Kit Issue"
  • Enter the information into Syspro
  • Ensure that the correct weight is entered
  • Verify that the total weight for every blended work order is within its 2% tolerance
  • Place hoppers on HOLD if weights are not within its 2% tolerance
  • Assist other coworkers with task when the Dump Room is slow
Requirements
  • Ability to work alone and work in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task, self-starter and organized
  • Flexibility to work overtime
  • Highly motivated, hands-on, goal-oriented individual with good oral and written communication skills in English. Spanish a plus
  • Inventory background preferred
  • Must have flexibility in work schedule (Customer demands/ short term shift coverage)
  • Excellent Computer, analytical, and comprehensive skills (Excel, Word, and Syspro)
Occasional, Infrequent:
  • End of the year Inventory active participation
  • Specific Inventory counts
  • Audits organization
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • 10-50 % of the day spent sitting, standing, and walking
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma, GED or industry equivalent experience
WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing industry, but not necessarily
