New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking an LPN to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation. Clinics from Southampton to NYC. Practice manages a freestanding outpatient 7-day per week Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department.

In this role you will:

• Give medication as prescribed by a Physician
• Takevital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature and weight
• Administer injections of medication
• Administer immunizations
• Obtainpatients medical histories
• Enterinformation into EMR computer systems
• StartIV s after certification as well as phlebotomy
  
  

We require:

• Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York
• At least 1 year of working in a medical facility
• Good computer knowledge
• Abilityto start IV s helpful
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus
• Compassionate patient care
  
  

Salary up to $30 per hour.
